Shukran, brother! Thank you for your feedback and explaining the differences between the two versions. I think I will go with the Noble Quran since it goes into much more detail as you said. Perfect for someone who is new to Islam like myself.

Yeah, the Noble Quran (aka Muhsin Khan translation), and the Sahih International translations are the two best. The Noble Qur'an has a lot of parenthesis, explaining words and concepts in detail for a great comprehensive understanding, while Sahih International minimizes the parenthesis, so although it might not explain as fully, it's a smoother read. Either one is great, Insha-Allah.

Which English version of the Quran should I read? I am new to Islam and want to learn Arabic one day, so for now I must read the English version. A friend told me the below version is the best English translation, but I am open to suggestions?
